Christopher Reid's parents are Jocelyn and Bernard Reid. Jocelyn was a nurse and Bernard was an architect. They raised Christopher in London, England where he was born in 1964. According to Reid, his parents were supportive of his interest in acting and comedy from a young age. Bernard passed away in 2007, but Jocelyn is still alive and continues to be a source of inspiration and support for her son.
